David Eugene Hawkins
David Eugene Hawkins, age 33, of Casey, IL, passed away at 1:27 a.m. on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, in Casey, IL. He was born on March 6, 1992, in Terre Haute, IN, the son of Sherri Ann Hawkins.
Survivors include his loving mother, Sherri Hawkins (Jeremy “Pappy” Hawkins) of Casey, IL; sister, Chelsey Hawkins (Dalton Bracken) of Casey, IL; daughter, Keeley Hussion of Casey, IL; son, Easton Hawkins of Peoria, IL; niece, Demi Hawkins of Casey, IL; grandparents, Robert and Marge Hawkins of Casey, IL; aunts, Barb Hawkins of Martinsville, IL and LuAnn Sandifer of Casey, IL; his cousins, Tre, Lacresha and Elliott, Jr. and many friends. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Oakleigh Hawkins.
David formerly worked for Beeman and Sons as an equipment operator. He was an avid deer hunter, fisherman, and MMA Fighter. His favorite hobbies included darts, playing softball, and participating in cornhole tournaments. David always enjoyed Twisted Tea and Fireball with his friends.
