What’s Happening at the Library in August?

Tuesdays, August 5, 12, 19, & 26 – 1pm is BINGO with Renee! It is FREE and no registration is required. ALL are welcome.

Thursday, August 7 – At 11am Shellie from Verizon will be hosting a Tech Class to answer your questions about your device. You do not need to be a Verizon customer to participate. ALL are welcome. Bring your devices and your questions!

Fridays, August 8, 15, 22, & 29 – 11am every Friday will be Mother Goose on the Loose our birth to five program. It is FREE and no registration is required.

Fridays, August 1, 8, 15, 22, & 29 – 3:30pm to 5:00pm every Friday is Gaming Club! We have a limited number of devices, but you are welcome to bring your own. Come play with us!

Thursday, August 14 – 6:45pm to 9pm is Silent Night of Reading for anyone 18 and older. Doors open at 6:45pm. Silence starts at 7pm and continues until 8:30pm. At 8:30pm silence is lifted and you are welcome to stay and chat with others, browse the shelves or continue reading. At 9pm the evening ends. You are welcome to bring your own chair/blanket/pillow etc. Comfy clothes are encouraged and drinks/snacks are allowed. Can’t wait to read quietly alongside of you!

CURBSIDE PICKUP services are available every day. If you have items you would like to return or for us to run out to your car, please give us a call and let us know you are here! (217-932-2105)

Need a library card? Cards are FREE to residents of Casey Township. Non-residents the cost is $70/year. If you reside in the Casey-Westfield School District and have a K-12th grade student (including homeschoolers) living in your home, you qualify for a FREE library card for your family from August of 2023 to July of 2024! To obtain a library card we need a valid photo id and a piece of mail with your current address.
