Get ready for a festive display of holiday cheer and community spirit as the Clark County 4-H Foundation prepares to host its first-ever Christmas Tree Fair! This exciting new fundraiser aims to support scholarships and various activities for the youth of Clark County, promising a delightful experience for all ages.

The 4-H Clubhouse at 507 Locust Street in Marshall will transform into a winter wonderland, showcasing a dazzling array of fully decorated artificial Christmas trees, each generously donated by local organizations and businesses. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to admire these creatively themed trees and even take one home through a raffle!

Event Dates and Details:

• Saturday, November 29

• Friday, December 5 (evening)

• Saturday, December 6

Admission to view the magnificent trees is absolutely free, inviting everyone to soak in the holiday atmosphere. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at the door. Guests can then place their tickets in designated boxes for the trees they hope to win. Imagine the joy of winning a beautifully decorated tree just in time for the holidays!

The excitement will culminate on Saturday, December 6, with drawings taking place at 5 p.m. Winners will be announced at the start of Marshall’s highly anticipated parade, adding an extra layer of festive anticipation to the evening. Winners will receive the complete, fully decorated tree for which their name was drawn.

A Call for Community Support:

The Clark County 4-H Foundation is actively seeking organizations and businesses to participate by donating a new, fully decorated artificial Christmas tree. This is a fantastic opportunity for local entities to gain recognition, promote their services, and demonstrate their commitment to supporting our youth.

“We welcome decorated trees of all kinds and themes,” states a representative from the Foundation. “Your business or organization name will be prominently displayed with your tree and recognized on our Facebook page throughout the event. You can even personalize your tree with products, discount cards, or marketing materials to showcase your business to the high traffic during these events.”

Beyond the promotional benefits, every tree donation directly supports the Clark County 4-H Program. All proceeds from the raffle will go to the Clark County 4-H Foundation, and tree and decoration expenses are tax-deductible.

How to Participate:

Organizations and businesses interested in donating a tree are asked to complete a registration form and submit it to the Clark County 4-H Foundation, P.O. Box 44, Marshall, IL, or email it to [email protected] by October 31. Once registered, sponsors will be contacted with available time slots for tree setup and decoration at the Clubhouse between November 22-26.
