Election Results Certified: The April 1 school board election results were officially certified, with Mike Fouty joining as the new member after receiving 282 votes for a four-year term.

Leadership Continuity Maintained: All current officers were unanimously re-elected, with Tracy Gelb continuing as president, Erin Fain as vice-president, and Becky Clement as secretary.

Committee Structure Established: Seven committees were formed with new member assignments, ensuring all board members participate in specialized oversight areas from policy development to curriculum review.

Family Time Policies Upheld: The board reaffirmed policies protecting family time by prohibiting extracurricular activities after 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays and all day Sundays, while allowing co-curricular activities like concerts and drama.

Administrative Efficiency Emphasized: Parents’ concerns about sports banquet timing prompted board direction for administration to develop better processes for timely post-season recognition events.

Operational Continuity Assured: All existing policies, handbooks, and administrative procedures were unanimously adopted, ensuring smooth district operations during the leadership transition period.
