WATCH: Pritzker enacts assisted suicide law, other bills; Gun storage law begins Jan. 1
(The Center Square) – In today’s edition of Illinois in Focus Daily, The Center Square Editor Greg Bishop reviews the proponents and opponents take on a measure Gov. J.B. Pritzker enacted Friday allowing for end-of-life options for terminally ill patients, or physician-assisted suicide.
Bishop also shares thoughts from U.S. LawShield President Kirk Evans about Illinois’ Safe Gun Storage Act, which expands the law requiring firearms be locked up under certain circumstances. Elements of the measure take effect Jan. 1.
