According to John Woodruff, Vice President for Business Services, the project is a component of the college’s Master Facility Plan.

Additionally, the scope of work includes the construction of a new entrance featuring a turn lane along Route 45. Woodruff noted that these improvements are designed to enhance entrance aesthetics, improve roadway conditions, and modernize the infrastructure along the highway.
Trustees received a bid tabulation sheet indicating that Kieffer Brothers Construction submitted the lowest of the two bids received for the project. The board authorized the use of the fund balance to cover the expense.
