The most substantial action of the evening was the board’s approval of the second reading for the Press Plus Policy Updates, specifically Issues 119 and 120. The sweeping policy package formally amended dozens of existing district rules.

Altered policies included updates to Title IX Grievance Procedures, Abused and Neglected Child Reporting, Equal Employment Opportunity, and the district’s Bring Your Own Technology Program. Other amended areas covered graduation requirements, substitute teachers, administrative medications to students, and regulations prohibiting teen dating violence. Following a motion by Hollingsworth and a second by Parcel, the board unanimously adopted the policy updates.

In operational business, the board voted to seek and accept district lawn care proposals for the 2026 growing season. Following a motion by Hollingsworth and a second by Maxwell, the district will solicit bids specifically from insured local and regional commercial lawn care companies.

The board also handled routine financial matters, officially setting the district’s IRS reimbursement rate to $0.725 per mile following a motion by Connelly and a second by Kannmacher.
