The Casey-Westfield varsity baseball team secured a decisive 13-3 conference victory over Lawrenceville on Thursday. The Warriors’ offense set the tone early and surged late to pull away from the Indians in a dominant road performance.

A six-run explosion in the third inning gave the Warriors early control of the game. After a brief quiet period, the team tacked on two runs in the fifth and a final five-run push in the sixth to seal the result.

Lawrenceville’s offense was limited to two hits throughout the afternoon. Emery Ivers provided the primary highlight for the home team, launching a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Lane Jackson also contributed an RBI, but the Indians were unable to keep pace with the Warriors’ high-scoring attack.

While specific individual statistics for Casey-Westfield were not entered into the official report, the Warriors collectively tallied 12 hits, proving their depth in the batter’s box. Emery Ivers took the mound for the Indians, working four innings, while Teagan Rolland pitched two innings in relief.

Casey-Westfield moves to 25-26 on the season. Both teams continue to work through a busy conference schedule as the season progresses.
