Casey-Westfield Baseball Powers Past Lawrenceville in 13-3 Road Win
The Casey-Westfield varsity baseball team secured a decisive 13-3 conference victory over Lawrenceville on Thursday. The Warriors’ offense set the tone early and surged late to pull away from the Indians in a dominant road performance.
A six-run explosion in the third inning gave the Warriors early control of the game. After a brief quiet period, the team tacked on two runs in the fifth and a final five-run push in the sixth to seal the result.
Lawrenceville’s offense was limited to two hits throughout the afternoon. Emery Ivers provided the primary highlight for the home team, launching a solo home run in the bottom of the sixth inning. Lane Jackson also contributed an RBI, but the Indians were unable to keep pace with the Warriors’ high-scoring attack.
