Warming Center Available: The Casey Senior Center will operate as a warming center during cold weather for residents needing emergency shelter, according to EMA Director Craig.

Labor Negotiations Update: Mayor Nichols announced that ICOP (Illinois City Officers Program) negotiations have begun, promising to keep the council updated on progress.

Council Attendance: Alderman Hanley was absent from the meeting, while City Attorney Tracy Willenborg led the pledge of allegiance. All voting was unanimous among the five present council members.

Financial Approvals: The council approved routine financial matters including $564,187.90 in monthly bills and a treasurer’s collection deposit of $575,064.92 without discussion or opposition.
