Disaster proclaimed in three counties
A disaster proclamation has been issued for Cook, Jersey and Calhoun counties after severe weather last month.
Gov. J.B. Pritzker said the state proclamation provides the appropriate tools to support recovery and assists getting support from federal agencies.
Last month’s storm caused substantial flooding, resulting in widespread power outages, blocked roadways and property damage.
