Dennis continued to work for Littlejohn Grain for another nine years. He completed his working years by joining Ron and Jordan Simonton on the family farm.
Dennis enjoyed playing fast pitch softball, motocross, coaching his daughters’ sports, skiing, hiking, and teaching his grandchildren to drive, shoot guns, and play cards. He served on the Westfield Bank Board of Directors, was a lifelong member of Round Grove Sportsman Club, and was inducted into the ASA Softball Hall of Fame in 2017.
