The Casey-Westfield school district will see several staffing changes following board action on Monday night. As part of its employment recommendations, the board unanimously approved three new hires for the 2025-26 school year.
Tracy Brewer will join the district as an elementary Title I Interventionist. Amanda Evinger was named the new Junior Class Sponsor, and Garrett Miller was hired as an Elementary Custodian.
The board also formally accepted four resignations. Ashley Shull is stepping down as the elementary Title I Interventionist, effective Aug. 12, 2025. Dane Wilson resigned as an Elementary Custodian effective Aug. 19, 2025, and Carolyn Meyers resigned as a Jr/Sr High School Custodian effective Aug. 25, 2025. Dawn Collins’ resignation as a District Route Bus Driver is effective Oct. 1, 2025.
In a move looking toward the future, the board accepted an irrevocable notice of retirement from Kelli Donhou, the Head Cook at the Jr/Sr High School. Donhou’s retirement will be effective June 1, 2029, marking the end of a long career with the district.
