Multiple people shot at Dallas ICE facility
Three people were shot, including fatalities, at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas, Texas, Wednesday morning.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem confirmed the incident via social media saying there have been “multiple injuries and fatalities.” Noem added that the “shooter is deceased by a self-inflicted gun shot wound.”
While details remain unclear, the incident follows a July ambush on an ICE facility in Alvarado, Texas, resulting in one officer being shot in the neck. The White House has attributed the shooting to Antifa.
In her post, Noem said that while a motive is still unknown, “ICE law enforcement is facing unprecedented violence against them. It must stop.”
On Monday evening, President Donald Trump officially designated the group a domestic terror organization following a question from The Center Square on Sept. 15, asking if he had plans to designate the organization.
This is a developing story.
