Casey Rotary Club welcomed District Governor John Calderon
The Casey Rotary Club welcomed District Governor 6490 John Calderon as the guest speaker for its Sept. 23 meeting at Richards Farm Restaurant. Calderon spoke about Rotary International’s continued effort to eradicate polio, new clubs forming within the district and his “Bucker Shoes for Orphan Souls” project which has already surpassed its goal of collecting 2,000 pairs of new shoes for children locally and abroad. Casey Rotary presented him with a $200 donation for the shoe program. Pictured with Calderon is Casey Rotary Club President Marcy Mumford.
