Clark Secures Fourth Career All-Conference Honor at LIC Meet

TERRE HAUTE, IN – Casey-Westfield senior Kayla Clark placing 8th overall at the 2025 Little Illini Conference Cross Country Meet on Tuesday, October 14 to secure a spot on the All-Conference team for the fourth time in her high school career. The meet was held at the prestigious LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.

For the Lady Warriors, Clark led the way with a stellar time of 20:35.90. Her top-10 finish was the highlight of the day for Casey-Westfield. She was followed by Kaitlyn McKinney, who finished 27th with a time of 25:07, and Amelia Washburn, who crossed the line shortly after in 29th place with a time of 25:19.22. Olivia Henderson (27:45.21) and Savannah Lyman (30:13.01) rounded out the finishers for the girls’ team.

On the boys’ side, the Warriors ran as a tight pack. Wade Winnett was the team’s top finisher, placing 27th with a time of 19:05.36. He was followed immediately by Rylie Large, who took 28th place with a time of 19:12.91. Eli Richardson finished 35th with a time of 20:04.28, and Kaleb Perie was close behind in 40th place with a time of 20:57.17. Brayden Clark (45th, 23:11.75) and Alex Hancock (49th, 23:59.31) completed the scoring for the Warriors.
