Casey-Westfield Cross Country Concludes Season at Mattoon Sectional

MATTOON – The Casey-Westfield cross country season came to a close on Saturday as members of the Lady Warriors and Warriors competed in the IHSA 1A Sectional meet at Lake Land College.
In her final career race, Lady Warrior Kayla Clark led the team with an impressive performance, placing 29th overall in a competitive field. Clark finished the three-mile course with a time of 19:45.9.
Following Clark for the Lady Warriors were Kaitlyn McKinney, who finished with a time of 23:39, and Amelia Washburn, who clocked in at 25:18.8. Olivia Henderson completed the course in 25:28.2, and Savannah Lyman finished with a time of 28:47.2.
For the Warriors, Eli Richardson was the lone representative from Casey-Westfield. He navigated the course with a final time of 19:11.1 to conclude his season.
