Warriors Advance to Sweet 16; Community Bonfire Planned for Friday
CASEY—Fresh off a dominant 35-0 first-round playoff victory, the Casey-Westfield Warriors are preparing to hit the road for the IHSA 1A Sweet 16. The team will travel to face the Nokomis Redskins this Saturday, November 4, with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m.
To celebrate the team’s success and build excitement for the upcoming matchup, team captains Nolan Clement, Kellen Sullivan, Fred Thomas, and Luke Karras are inviting the entire community to a Bonfire & Pep Rally. The event will take place on Friday, November 3, at 7 p.m. at 4797 E 1100th Road in Casey.
The rally promises to be a memorable evening for fans, featuring a special appearance by “Chie Tull of Bull.” In a unique Warrior tradition, new spirit names will also be given out to players, an event that fans will not want to miss as the team prepares for its biggest game of the season.
