MATTOON, IL – The Lake Land College Board of Trustees officially granted tenure to four full-time faculty members during its regular meeting on Monday, October 13, 2025. The decision, which followed a discussion in a closed session, marks a significant career milestone for the educators.

Tenure was awarded effective at the beginning of the Spring 2026 semester to the following faculty members:

  • Mr. Joseph Hoenes, HVAC Instructor

  • Ms. Lacy Huddleston, Dental Hygiene Instructor

  • Ms. Kara Molzen, Dental Hygiene Instructor

  • Ms. Kellie Niemerg, Academic Counselor
