OAKWOOD — In their third game of the Oakwood Tournament, the undefeated Lady Warriors met the undefeated Heritage squad in what proved to be a physical contest. While Casey-Westfield kept the game tight in the opening half, Heritage pulled away in the final two quarters to hand CW their first loss of the season, 48-34.

Both teams came out firing in the first quarter, combining for 26 total points. CW found themselves on the short side of the exchange, trailing 14-12 after one.

Heritage expanded their lead in the second frame, hitting for another 14 points. The Lady Warriors managed to keep the game within reach, heading into the locker room facing a 28-22 deficit.
