Article Summary: The board voted to outsource human resources support to a specialized firm to assist with compliance, benefits, and departmental strategy.
HR Outsourcing Key Points:

  • The Michael Fuller Group will provide HR resources and compliance support for the county.

  • The firm is partnering with H&H EMS Solutions, a company formed by individuals who helped launch the Clark County Ambulance Service.

  • The move aims to analyze benefit programs and potentially reduce county costs.

The Clark County Board on Friday, Dec. 19, voted unanimously to hire the Michael Fuller Group to provide human resources support for the county.

The decision followed a proposal presented by Fred Wurster and Todd Sheridan, who recently formed H&H EMS Solutions. Wurster and Sheridan previously worked with the county to establish the Clark County Ambulance Service. They have partnered with the Michael Fuller Group to expand the resources available to the county.

Lisa Donato, representing the Michael Fuller Group, outlined her firm’s process during the meeting. She told the board that her focus would be on ensuring compliance, working directly with department heads to develop strategies, and analyzing benefit programs to potentially reduce costs.

Donato emphasized that the arrangement offers the county access to a full team of resources rather than a single individual. Board Member Brandon Burkybile moved to approve the hiring, seconded by Board Member Susan Guinnip.
