According to the library’s monthly financial report, the most recent accounts payable included an $8,116.88 payment to Cordagon Clark. The library’s operating account balance sat at $16,159.20 following total February disbursements of $17,603.29.
In conjunction with the expansion discussion, the board reviewed the facility’s overall usage and collection metrics for February. The library reported a total collection of 22,936 items, having added 46 new items—including 43 adult books and two juvenile books—during the month.
Circulation statistics revealed 1,713 total check-outs, heavily driven by 1,041 adult books, 326 videos, and 215 adult audiobooks. The library served 191 active borrowers who placed 447 holds through the Illinois Heartland Library System (IHLS). Additionally, the library added eight new patron registrations in February, including six adults and two juveniles, bringing total library registrations to 2,601.
