The Westville varsity baseball team engineered a thrilling late-game comeback to defeat visiting Casey-Westfield 5-3 in extra innings during a Saturday morning non-conference matchup. Down to their final outs, the home team overcame a three-run deficit and five defensive errors to secure the walk-off victory in the eighth inning.

Casey-Westfield controlled the early portions of the contest, methodically building a 3-0 advantage. The Warriors opened the scoring with a single run in the top of the first inning, added another in the third, and pushed a third run across in the top of the fifth.
