The Casey Township Library Board convened twice in November 2025 to manage regular business and advance a major building expansion project. During the regular meeting on November 6, the board handled financial reports and received updates on library programming and grants. A special meeting was held on November 14 to specifically address architectural plans from Corodogan Clark, resulting in a vote to approve a wheelchair-accessible ramp design and the placement of internal facilities.
Financial Reports Approved:
During the November 6 meeting, the board approved the consent agenda, which included the October 4, 2025, financial and activity reports and the minutes from the previous meeting. A motion to pay bills was approved, and checks were signed.
DIY Crafts:
Librarian Gretchen Murphy reported that the library is offering “DIY craft in a bag” kits on Saturdays. Children can choose to assemble the crafts at the library or take them home. Additionally, a “Hide the Book Worm” activity was organized for children attending the library.
